A Monday morning appearance with 8th District Congressman Mark Messmer has been cancelled. The Congressman was to appear at an ag-related breakfast meeting this morning at the Knights of Columbus hall in Vincennes.
Earlier, Congressman Messmer met with Indiana education and workforce leaders in Evansville to talk about expanding apprenticeship opportunities. The roundtable at Ivy Tech focused on connecting more students with career opportunities after high school and strengthening Indiana’s workforce.
Messmer also highlighted Indiana’s success in helping high school students earn college credit, while saying there’s still room to improve.
