Vincennes University will use a gift fo set up a new greenhouse at its Ag Center on U-S 41 just north of Vincennes. The James D. and Kay Winemiller Greenhouse will be built, thanks to a donation from Nancy Winemiller-Basinger. She made the undisclosed gift in honor of her parents.
The gift is one of many helping set up the 35-hundred square foot facility. Among the others to give to the cause is the Indiana Farm Bureau Foundation, Keystone Cooperative, and Villwock Farms. Construction will start next year, with completion expected by late fall of 2027.
