The City of Vincennes continues to extend its marketing campaign to attract new workers from far and near to consider coming here. Recent additions to the job market, and aggressive plans to build housing, are part of the City’s strategy to bring new workers and families to Vincennes.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum believes jobs are main attraction—but that housing isn’t far behind. Yochum also gives another advantage Vincennes has—plenty of water.
Currently, one of the main marketing campaigns is billboards trying to attract people in nearby Illinois to cross the Wabash and settle in Vincennes.
