Smoking Light Ballast Cause of VFD Run to Vincennes Location of DCS

Vincennes City firemen responded yesterday afternoon to a fire call at the Vincennes location of the Department of Child Services on Wasington Avenue.  Crews were called due to a smoke report; the smoke came from ballast in one of the lights.

Firemen reported no damage from the incident.
