Vincennes Water Utilities officials are looking at two big-ticket items that they need to finance in the near future.
One of them is to replace a 25-year old electric generator. Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie says that equipment was put into use for around 48 hours this summer. That replacement is estimated to take around four million dollars to complete. Bouchie also lays out another multi-million dollar need—updated utility meters.
Those purchase requests and others will be considered in the months to come by the Vincennes Water Utilities Board of Directors.
