Homecoming activities are getting underway this week at Vincennes Lincoln High School. Those festivities are part of the annual welcoming of former students back to LHS for the weekend.
However, in recent years, the celebration has seen some declining numbers. Homecoming organizer Bill Cleveland explains part of it is a lack of people in charge for the various graduating classes. Cleveland also points to a bigger amount of students leaving the area after they leave LHS,
The other problem is smaller class sizes. Attendance at Vincennes Lincoln is smaller than it was in earlier decades.
