Those who knew Presley Gerber best are sharing a personal glimpse at the man behind the famous family following his death.
Friends and loved ones mourned Gerber — son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber — after the 27-year-old model died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Among those paying tribute was Kid Rock, who remembered Gerber as a “wonderful and kind young man” while praising his parents’ efforts to support their son.
“Myself and family are absolutely devastated with the passing of Presley Gerber,” Kid Rock wrote on X. “He was such a wonderful and kind young man. His parents are the epitome of great, genuine, loving parents who did everything humanely possible to help him.”

“This is a tragedy, one that has devastated far too many families,” he added. “I know God has his hands on Presley and he shall forever rest in peace and thrive in the kingdom of heaven. With all my love and grace.”
Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio reflected on their relationship as she grieved his death in a series of heartfelt social media posts.
“Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life,” D’Alessio wrote. “You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry [about] this.”
She shared photos and videos of their time together as she honored their relationship. Gerber and the model met through his sister, Kaia, in 2017 and dated for roughly a year.
“Love u Pres. Always. Up there, down here. Don’t ever doubt that,” she added. “We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it.”
Paris Hilton was also among those mourning Gerber’s death, remembering him as a “beautiful soul” who “will be so deeply missed.”

“Presley, you were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine,” she added. “I cared about you so much, and I’m going to miss you more than words can say.
“I’ll always cherish the memories we shared – the laughs, the conversations, and just being around you. You had such a gentle heart and there was something so special about you that anyone who was lucky enough to know you could feel.”
“I hope you knew how deeply loved you were and how many people cared about you,” she wrote. “My heart is with your entire family during this unimaginable time. Rest in peace, my friend. Love you forever. You will be so deeply missed.”

Brooklyn Beckham also paid tribute on his Instagram story.
“I am so heartbroken,” he wrote. “Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you so much x we love you.”
Beckham’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, shared they were “devastated” by Gerber’s passing.
“i am truly devastated. presley was pure light in this world, he had the kindest heart,” she wrote on Instagram. “i feel so lucky to have had him in my life. i will never forget his kindness and how he always showed up for his friends. my deepest condolences go out to his family. we miss you and we love you so much presley.”
Friends also flooded the comments of Gerber’s final Instagram post.
“love you brother,” Brody Jenner commented along with a dove emoji and a broken heart.
“Praying for your family,” Khloé Kardashian added.

While Gerber’s family has yet to publicly pay tribute following his death, a representative for the family told Fox News Digital, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
In August, Kaia Gerber spoke candidly about her brother in an interview with Vogue.
“My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn’t share anything – and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, ‘I’m gonna be very human for everyone,’” she told the outlet. “There’s only so much you can hide from the world. And trying to put a lid on something just makes the person feel like you’re ashamed of them.”

Gerber followed his famous mother into modeling as a teenager, signing with IMG Models at 15 and made his runway debut for Moschino in 2016. He quickly established his own fashion résumé, walking major runways and appearing in advertising campaigns.
The model worked on campaigns with Dolce & Gabbana, Celine and Calvin Klein — including a Calvin Klein campaign with his sister.
Gerber also worked with Pepsi, appearing alongside Crawford in a 2018 Super Bowl commercial that played off his mother’s famous history with the brand.
In recent years, Gerber also spoke publicly about his experiences with mental health and addiction, saying he hoped his openness could help other people facing similar struggles.
