Officials have released the name of a woman who died following a Vincennes house fire Monday night.
The Marion County Coroner identified the victim as 18-year-old Aileese Tucker.
The fire, on North 11th Street, remains under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office and Vincennes Fire Department.
Neighbors told firefighters an explosion was heard.
Tucker was removed from the residence and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. Vincennes Fire Department personnel identified Troy Pickel as the owner of the residence.
The fire is still under investigation at this time.
