An October 26th sentencing date is set for 27 year-old Joseph Pittman. Pittman is charged with strangulation and domestic battery in a December 18th 2024 incident.
In court yesterday, Pittman admitted his guilt in the incident. A plea agreement called for a four-year sentence—one year on the charge, and an enhanced three years for being a habitual offender. Knox Superior Court One Judge Gara Lee will decide on plea acceptance during the October 26th hearing.
