Drier weather is expected to continue in the area. However, forecaster Ryan Martin says that dry period is expected to end by the end of the week. Martin also expects a blast of sustained colder air to drop down to this area in the days following this coming weekend.
The immediate area was spared from the remnants of Hurricane Esaias voer the weekend. Farmers still involved in harvest activities are reminded to keep watch on the weather, as harvest continues across the broader area.
