Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Washington man Friday afternoon in connection with an incident earlier in the day in which he is accused of stabbing a driver before leaving the scene of a crash on US 41 near County Road 975 South.
32-year-old Max Underhill fled the scene on foot.
He was taken into custody later in the day on preliminary charges of Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery.
Underhill is being held without bond in the Sullivan County Jail.
