KC Salvation Army Giving Out Coats Now As Part of Application Process

The Knox County Salvation Army is currently accepting applications for its Christmas assistance programs.  The assistance includes coats donated by the community during the “Coats for Kids” drive, hosted by TOC Direct Media.  Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates says the coats will be given out when you sign up for the Salvation Army’s Christmas donation.  Gates says annually, over 300 people apply for the Knox County Salvation Army’s relief campaign each year.

At this time, coats are also being accepted for this current year.  A donation barrel is available in the front lobby of TOC Direct Media’s headquarters in downtown Vincennes.  The donations may be made during regular business hours.
