The Vincennes Police Department plans an electrical upgrade on Monday. Vincennes Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand estimates it will cost around 35-thousand dollars. The work is not expected to have any effect on their service to those in the city.
Also, Hillenbrand told the Board there are still eight openings in the Police Department. Of those, one is conditionally filled, with six of the remaining seven positions pending, with potential officers in the hiring process.
