One change has been announced for a vote center in the coming November election. The vote center that had been at the Eagles’ Lodge will be moved up Willow Street to Bethany Christian Church. That move was approved by the Knox County Election Board.
That change makes the church one of 13 vote centers in Election Day. Four of them are in Vincennes, and one each of the County’s municipal areas, along with the unincorporated town of Freelandville. Anyone can vote for their precinct’s candidates at any voting center in Knox County.
Early voting will start October eighth at the sally port across from the Knox County Courthouse. The two Saturdays before Election Day, the sally port will be open for early voting, as wll the Bicknell Fire House, and the Blue Jeans Center in Monroe City.
