The Little Alice Learning Academy opened its doors to preschoolers yesterday, along with its parent group– Vincennes Community Schools. The program is located at the Vincennes YMCA facility at 2010 College Avenue.
The new center helps with a community need identified by the Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation. K-C-I-E-D-C director Chris Pfaff says the program provides more opportunities for preschool education. Pfaff also informs everyone the entire Little Alice Academy program was funded by a sizable state grant.
Community leaders feel the extra childcare spots open will help parents in need to get to work– and to do so with more confidence.
