Vincennes City Police, and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, will take part on the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. That will begin this Friday, and last through Labor Day on September second.
The two departments, and others statewide, will use both saturation patrols and checkpoints to crack down on drunk or impaired driving. A report claims over 56 percent of all traffic deaths in Indiana involved impaired driving. That includes both impairment with drugs or alcohol.
