Vincennes Water Utilities officials heard yesterday the City’s newest water tank is weeks away from being operational. The final touches are being completed now for the facility at Hart Street and Richard Bauer Drive.
Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie says the first fill for the water tank should happen later this month. Bouchie says even with the delays, the tank itself looks like it’s ready to go.
The newest tank will serve potential growth areas to the east of Vincennes. It will also provide more water pressure for southern sections of Vincennes, as well as to customers south of the Vincennes city limits.
