The Indiana Department of Transportation will close part of State Road 61 for road construction starting Tuesday.
In a notice posted to INDOT’s Trafficwise page, State Road 61 will be closed from Ramsey Orchard Road and Black Road, near Monroe City. The closure is scheduled for ten days, weather allowing– with a re-opening expected on Friday, August 30th.
Also, INDOT has reported work coming to 61 from Water Works Road to South Wildwood Lane. That stretch is being closed for deep patching work. Local traffic will have access to both closures.
