A Vincennes man has turned himelf in following just under a week after his bond was revoked in Knox Superior Court One.
27 year-old Triston Kelley is charged with neglect of a dependent leading to death. That stemmed from a November 2022 incident in Vincennes involving the death of a then two year-old boy. Court documents allege the boy was shot accidentally from a gun left in a diaper bag at his home.
Kelley is also charged with a new count of possession of marijauana. That allegedly happened earlier this month. His arrest warrant was issued on August 17th; he turned himself in on the warrant yesterday afternoon.
Kelley is being held without bond at the Knox County Jail. His trial on the neglect charge is currently set for October 22nd.
