A good number of kids and young adults have flocked to the upgraded Vincennes Skate Park at Lester Square. The updated, improved facility was re-dedicated a week ago Saturday.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says the park update was a five-year process. Yochum credits former Parks Superintendents Steve Beaman and Chris Moore for their work, along with current Superintendent J-R Field.
The new skate park was built from the ground up. The former facility at Lester Square was donated to the City of Princeton.
