The City of Vincennes, Saint Paul Lutheran Church, and the United Way of Knox County is opening a cooling center from noon to eight today and tomorrow. The station will be located at the Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Vincennes.
The location will be a temporary place for anyone to get out of hot weather this week. The shelter will be for temporary cooling purposes only, no refreshments or other snacks will be provided.
The church also served as a warming center at times during the winter months as needed as well.
