Activities are preparing to get into high gear at the Bicknell Labor Day Festival. This afternoon, various food locations across Bicknell will open– including the Tri-Kappa Fish House, the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Pizza Parlor, the Word of Life Church Coney place, and the Bicknell Methodist Church ice cream shop. The ice cream will be sold tonight at South Side Park; also at the park is music by Luke and Maria Coatney.
Saturday features many acitivies– including a return of fireworks. Those will be shot off at ten p-m at Northside Park. A commuity worship service and community picnic will happen Sunday, with the annual Bicknell Labor Day Parade on Monday at noon.
Everyone is encouraged to come out for the weekend’s activities.
