State highway officials say State Road 59 in Knox County is scheduled for closure today for the removal of the asphalt surface. and the application of a new asphalt overlay. State Road 59 will be closed between State Road 67 and State Road 58 This will affect the Town of Sandborn.
The work is expected to last through October.
The official detour will be State Road 67 to State Road 58.
Local traffic– including those traveling through Sandborn– will have access up to the point of closure.
