Hurricane Helene is making landfall in the Gulf at this time, and is expected to move northward into this area. The question remains on how much rainfall this area will get from the remnants of that weather system.
Rainfall estimates can be up to two inches, if the bulk of the remnants come through this area. The hurricane made landfall as a Category Three hurricane on the Florida Panhandle.
