The United Way of Knox County reports a good effort and results for the annual Days of Caring. That took place over the days of September `9th and 20th throughout Knox County.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill points to several volunteers working on some prominent projects.
Another part of the Days of Caring is food collection for the County’s various food pantries. Hill says that effort was as successful as it has ever been.
The Days of Caring is part of an publicity campaign for the United Way of Knox County’s annual fall donation drive. Various businesses and individuals are encouraged to give to help the Knox County community through the United Way of Knox County.
