Madison Hedge was named as the 2024 Knox County Fair Queen in ceremonies last night at the Vincennes University Pavilion at the Knox County Fairgrounds. The 17 year-old Hedge is the daughter of Phillip Hedge.
The first runner up was Grace Carie, with Rhylee Wanke as second runner up and Kadie Lafferty as third runner-up. Emma Stine was the People’s Choice winner, while Carie was named Miss Congeniality. Penny Schuckman Memorial Scholarship went to Lauren Keyes.
Madison Hedge will succeed 2023 Knox County Fair Queen Paris Robinson as this year’s queen. The Knox County Fair runs through Friday at the Fairgrounds in Bicknell.
