Four young ladies from Knox County will seek the Miss Indiana title starting this weekend. Two more Vincennes girls will also compete for the title Indiana’s Outstanding Teen
The four Knox County Miss Indiana contestants include 22 year-old Kearston Anderson from Oaktown, and three Vincennes women. The three from Vincennes are 19 year-old Evelyn Crowley, 23 year-old Ashley Green, and 19 year-old Anastasia Sharp-Keller. Indiana’s Miss Oustanding Teen contestants from Vincennes include 16 year-old Elizabeth Deetz, and 14 year-old Mallory Obermeyer.
The Indiana’s Outstanding Teen winner will take the crown from 2017 Miss Indiana Outstanding Teen Ellie Barmes. Barmes just graduated from South Knox High School. Barmes knows the title is a life-changing experience…

Both competitions are part of the Miss America and America’s Outstanding Teen programs. Both state winners will move on to the national competition later this year.
