Sharon M. Shreve, 78 passed away at 7:10 am on November 11, 2018. Sharon was born on September 10, 1940 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of Sylvin and Pauline (Snyder) Hutchings.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family very much. Her jokes and comments about life always made people smile or even laugh. She also enjoyed reading and the Hallmark and Game Show Channel. Her day was always made better with an unsweet tea and some doughnuts.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy Shreve and his wife Lisa of Vincennes. Deidra Thorne of Vincennes, Douglas Shreve and his spouse Greg of Evansville, Donnie Shreve and his wife Eva of Vincennes, Donna Clark of Washington, Jodie Shreve of Vincennes; sister, Donna Bowery and her husband Terry of Decatur, IL; brother, David Hutchings and his wife Leann of Lexington, KY; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Theron and Jimmie Hutchings, one sister, Wanda Higgins and niece Tracy Fiscus.
Friends may visit with Sharon’s family from 10:00 am until noon on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Sharon’s funeral service will begin at noon at the funeral home on Thursday with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating.
