Some state programs could face spending cuts to steer money to the Holcomb administration’s top priorities.
The administration will lay out a detailed budget proposal next week, but it’s already given a few hints.
State budget director Jason Dudich told a conference last month the governor will propose increases for schools, the Department of Child Services, Medicaid, and state pensions and salaries, but the rest of the budget is likely to look a lot like the current one.
