The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the Hilltop Tavern in Hazleton early Friday morning.
The Princeton Daily Clarion reports White River-Hazleton and White River Patoka Firefighters were called out around 1:30 Friday morning.
The fire is believed to have started somewhere in the dining room.
There were no injuries reported. The owners say that they do not plan to rebuild after the fire.
