The state of Indiana is being sued over a lack of care in the state’s foster care system.
Nine children filed the suit yesterday as part of a class action lawsuit against the state, the Department of Child Services, and Governor Eric Holcolmb.
The lawsuit claims Indiana has, for years, placed children in unstable or overly restrictive homes.
The lawsuit also claims Indiana is not doing enough for the children’s mental health.
