A new law will allow hunter education and safety to be taught at schools in Illinois. Governor Pritzker signed a bill Friday that makes resources available to develop a hunters education curriculum. The bill had passed overwhelmingly in both the state House and Senate. School districts can now choose whether to offer the course and if it will be included as part of the school day or as an after-school program.
