The Knox County Commissioners held their first session of the month this morning at the Knox County Courthouse.
Officials recognized Amanda Ferguson to start the meeting off for her hard work in the Auditors office. Sunrise Coal made a request to put in a concrete crossing for temporary use on Freelandville Road.
County Assessor Kelly Hoppwood with the approval of the commissioners approved the hiring of Zionsville based Nexus Group to help with property assessments for property taxes.
Finally, The county has temporarily hired legal council for needs. The county has hired on Graham Dycus from Hart-Bell.
The commissioners will meet again on Tuesday, September 17th.
