Sunday’s COVID-19 Update for Indiana

The Indiana State Department of Health has announced 596 additional cases of Covid-19 statewide today, raising the total to just over 48-thousand.

According to the state, capacity at intensive care units and for ventilators remained steady. 42% of ICU beds remain available as well as 84% of ventilators.

6 Hoosiers died within the last 24 hours due to the virus, making the total 2500.

One case was diagnosed on Friday in Knox County, raising the county total to 64. Of the 64 cases in the county, currently no deaths have been reported.

Meanwhile in Daviess County, an additional death was reported on Friday, raising the toll to 17. It was the county’s first death since May 9th.
