Daviess County clerk, Elaine Wellman reminds owners in the county that a waiver, extending the Spring Installment of property taxes expires after the close of business on Friday. Wellman says that she is thankful for residents who managed to pay their taxes despite the Covid-19 Pandemic. Any property taxes that are due for the Spring Installment and paid after Friday will be subject to the standard late penalty. Wellman says anything with a postmark July 10th or before will be considered as on time. Wellman also says if you would like a receipt to include a self addressed stamped envelope.
