Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Wadesville woman after clocking her driving at 108 miles per hour on US 41 at Fort Branch.

At 2:49 AM Central Time Tuesday, deputies stopped a 2008 Gray Chevrolet Malibu operated by 21-year-old Salem Antey. On site, troopers detected a strong smell of alcohol. A battery of tests were done at the scene.

Antey was taken into custody of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving charges. She is being held on $650 bond.

This is the 2nd time in 4 days a person has been pulled over near that stretch of US-41 by Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies. On Saturday evening, a Sparks, Maryland man was arrested by deputies for driving 105 miles per hour by the Toyota Plant. Police remind you to obey posted speed limits.
