The Knox County Library’s renovation is 99.99 percent done. That is according to architect Larry Donovan. Donovan mentioned that a few odds and ends things were left to complete the renovation.

In the McGrady Brockman building, several things are being done to fix some structural problems. The Library Board received an estimate of $5500 to $8500 to repair the 2nd floor of the building. Officials say that the 2nd floor has a issue of sagging. Also, the building will be getting some repairs from storm damage from April 8th and they will be getting a couple of new HVAC systems. The systems in place have currently have been there since the Library took the building over in the early 2000s.
