During their session Thursday Morning, the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission voted and approved an option for the Phase 2 of the Main Street Project.
The commission approved a plan where Felt King Road coming from Hart would curve to the right and interest at Main Street. Ramsey would also take a slight right turn and then Sievers Road would take a left turn as it approaches Main Street from the South. All of the intersections involved would be finished with a 90 degree angle.
Officials also say the plans for Phase 2 of the Main Street Project would cover sidewalks up to Ramsey Road on both sides, but a crosswalk would be put in at Ramsey and Main to move pedestrians over to the north side of the road, where the sidewalk will continue on that side.
The RDC is sending the plan to INDOT for their approval.
