Over the weekend, Knox County reported 8 additional cases of COVID-19 for a grand total of 339 cases. Of those, 79 are active compared to 103 that were active Friday. Of the active cases, 7 Knox County residents are in the hospital with 4 on ventilators.
Dr. Alan Stewart with the Knox County Health Department says that with community spread of the virus, you can’t say or act as if you are low risk
Stewart also mentions that testing is still a problem at this time.
