A new question from the Department of Workforce Development is causing problems for Indiana business owners. The question is supposed to prevent potential fraud, but instead it’s causing delayed unemployment payments for over 20,000 Indiana business owners.
Jim Janulis has owned his print advertising business for 15 years. He tells an Indianapolis TV station that the DWD “should’ve gotten the word out publicly, because people just like myself could be very concerned.” The DWD did not tell business owners about the delay issue at first, causing confusion for thousands of Hoosiers.
