The Daviess County Health Officer and Daviess County Commissioners have decided to change Daviess County’s COVID-19 designation from “Red” to “Orange” with orange being the lesser of the two designations which impact the number of people allowed at various events.
The change was made after the state announced an error resulted in incorrect positivity rates at both the state and county levels.
The change does not affect the use of masks, social distancing requirements, and other mitigation measures set forth in Governor Holcomb’s Executive Orders.
