Daviess County Commissioner Nathan Gabhart was elected Vice President of the Indiana Association of County Commissioners South West District during the IACC’s annual district meeting recently.
As District Vice President, Gabhart will represent the elected county commissioners in the South West district of the state, which includes Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Sullivan, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties.
The IACC is represented by six districts in the state. Gabhart will serve on the IACC’s board of directors, which determines policies and legislative goals for the Association.
Knox County Commissioner Kellie Streeter was elected District President during the meeting as well.
