A shorthanded Vincennes Lincoln squad lost last night to Washington, 61-42, at the Hatchet House.  Lincoln led 7-5 in the first quarter, only to see the Lady Hatchets go on a 10-0 run as part of a 28-17 halftime lead.  The Lady Alices got back within six in the third quarter, but an 11-0 run extended the Hatchet lead into the fourth quarter.

Chloe Cardinal led the Lady Alices with 16, followed by Dani Kroeger with 10.  Alaina Thomas led Washington with 19.  Only four Washington players scored– but all four were in double figures.  Lincoln played without Marissa Carmean; she was placed on two-week quarantine due to contact tracing.

Lincoln is back in action Wednesday evening, when they host Princeton at Alice Arena.
