The Lincoln Boys soccer team gave coach Kyle Doggett his first win as the Alices blanked North Knox 6-0. Dagen Parido and Jason Ramierz had a pair of goals for the Alices while Nathan Boger, and Jacob Bezy each scored and Teighan Johnson had his first career shutout.
The Lincoln Lady Alices defeated Washington Catholic 6-1. Sierra Mullins continued her blazing play scoring four goals. Ariana Patricio and Maya Miller also scored while Madalynn Grube had 9 saves on 10 shots
Rivet’s boys soccer team lost 10-1 to Evansville Christian. Gage Letts scored Rivet’s goal on an assist from Mitchell Earley. Falk Von Martzal had 12 saves. Rivet had to play with 10 players due to Covid, injuries, and players needing additional practices per IHSAA rules.
High School Volleyball action…Undefeated Sullivan downed Vincennes Lincoln 25-15, 25-22 and 25-19. Lincoln falls to 3-10 on the season. The Lady Alices will host Princeton tonight.
South Knox rolled over White river Valley in three sets 25-17, 25-20 and 25-17. Shelby Burke had eight kills. Addy Delise nine service points. Olivia Hamilton 13 digs and Jaelyn Grumieux 12 digs. South Knox won the junior varsity match 25-9 and 25-9. Jenesis Mcclure had 13 points while Caroline Beard 11..
The South Knox Girls Golf team defeated North Posey 186-205. For the Lady Spartans, Trinity Dubbs was medalist with a two under 34. Salena Dellinger a 40. Bethany Williams a 52. Tori Thompson a 60 while Eliza Dellinger a 67 and Graceanna Cramer a 72.
The South Knox Boys tennis team lost to Barr Reeve 4-1. The only Spartans victory came at number two doubles where Trevor Lough and Noah Hayden won in three sets.
In middle school action
The Clark Middle School 8th grade volleyball team lost in three sets at Princeton. Cynthia Memering had 13 assists and five kills for Clark. Clark won the 7th grade contest in three sets. Presley Davis had nine assists and 7 Aces.
.Sullivan defeated Rivet 25-24 and 25-20 in the 7th grade match. Jara Case had eight service points and five aces for Rivet. Piper Lewis had seven digs. Sullivan won the 8th grade match 25-12 and 25-8.
The North Knox 8th grade girls volleyball team downed North Central 25-14 and 25-17. Keely McMillin had eight points and five aces. Jade Richter had seven points.
The Clark Middle School Girls Soccer team defeated Pike Central 3 to 1. Lucy Wisley scored 2 goals and Maddy Mitchell also scored. Javelin James had 6 saves in goal. Meanwhile, the CMS Boys soccer team defeated Pike Central 3-1. Lukas Lang, Lucas Klingler and Landon Telligman had one goal each. Jayden Thacker had 5 saves in goal.
