Work on the Forbes Road project continues this week.
City officials say that grass planting will take place on the project this week.
Earlier this summer, the road reopened to traffic from stormwater drainage work.
Officials also have accomplished paving work and drinking water work in the area.
Vincennes Water Utilities General Manager, Kirk Bouchie, says that communication was key in to getting all of the work in the area done at once.
Half of the funds for the project came from city funds while the othe half came from a Community Crossings Matching Grant.
