Good Samaritan Hospital’s board of directors approved a 3% wage increase and instituted a $14 minimum wage. Previously, the hospital’s minimum wage was $13 per hour. The raise in the hospital’s minimum wage will go into place in July. Hospital officials say that the wage increase will add around $2.26 million to the wage and salary expense column.
