Odon, Vincennes, and Gibson County will receive part of $162 million in federal transportation funding being awarded to 50 cities, towns, and counties in rural portions of Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the funding will help these communities to invest in local road and bridge improvements and sidewalk projects.
Odon received nearly $3.6 million, while Vincennes received over $3 million and Gibson County received over $2.1 million.
