Nominations are now being accepted for the annual “Spirit of ’76” Fourth of July award. The award is presented each year by the City of Vincennes to a person who helps his or her community through personal involvement.
Nomination letters should include a biography of the person, and examples of how he or she qualifies for the award. Nominations may be e-mailed to chacker@vincennes.in.gov.
Last year’s winner was Dr. Alan Stewart. There was no winner in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
