Washington Police have released more details on a shots fired call that took place on the city’s southwest side on Thursday Evening.
Police arrested 23-year-old Anthony Jose Castro on charges of Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, and carrying a handgun without a license.
According to police, a verbal argument took place Thursday between Castro and another individual. Police say Castro fired his weapon, but no injuries were reported. Castro initially fled, but turned himself into authorities. Police were searching two properties in the city on Friday and found a 9-millimeter handgun at one of the locations on McCormick Avenue.
Castro is currently being held at the Daviess County Security Center.
