Several Knox County Officials Get New Terms

With ballots officially set in Knox County, several positions are already filled.

Doug Vantlin has won another term as Knox County Sheriff. Dirk Carnahan will remain as Knox County Prosecutor. David Shelton will serve as Knox County Circuit Court Clerk. Mary Crismore will represent Knox County Council District 1, while Jay Yochum will represent District 3, and Richard Chattin will represent District 4. Dick Vermillion will remain Knox County Surveyor.

Robert Woodward will be the new Knox County Assessor. Lisa Clark-Benock will be the next Knox County Auditor. Mike Morris will represent Knox County Council District 2.

In Busseron Township, Irene Hanger, Cecil Meeks, and Kimela Meeks will serve on the town advisory board. Lacey Newton will be Decker Township Trustee. Shelley McCrary will remain Steen Township Trustee, while Brent McGiffen, Jennifer Page, and Roger Robertson will remain on the town advisory board. In Vigo Township, Angie Goff remains Trustee while Aaron Bourlard, Karen Byrer, and Carol Anderson will remain on the township advisory board. In Washington Township, Brian Stephens remains township trustee. The current town advisory board members have been appointed for their next term. In Widner Township, Sara Kixmiller will be Township Trustee, while Gordon Clinkenbeard, Vickie Held, and Joshua Trotter will serve as members of the Township Advisory Board.
